Concept & Objective
Uni Construction served as the Design-Builder for the LACCD Child Development Academic Facility at Pierce College. Our objective was to deliver a competitive, code-compliant facility that meets the college’s program needs while staying aligned with the project budget and schedule.

Design oversight to meet educational requirements and building regulations
Accurate estimating to keep the proposal competitive
Coordination across disciplines to support approvals and execution

We led the pursuit with a design-build proposal focused on clear planning, realistic budgeting, and compliance. By managing design coordination and cost planning early, the team strengthened the overall package and improved decision-making before execution.

Completed in 2023 (approx. $20M). Uni Construction acted as the Design-Builder and managed the design process, cost estimating, and proposal development to align scope, budget, and requirements—resulting in a winning design-build package.
