Concept & Objective
Laemmle Lofts is a mixed-use development in Glendale, California featuring 42 residential units (condo-ready) along with a Laemmle movie theater and Panda Inn restaurant. Uni Construction managed the entire development starting from acquisition of the city-owned lot through design management, construction management, investor representation, and transition into a property management company to generate rental income.


Inspiration
We led pre-development feasibility and project planning, helped secure investment, and assembled the full project team. From there, we managed design and construction coordination across stakeholders and consultants, while representing investor interests through delivery and transition into ongoing operations

Project Detail
Completed 2014. Approx. $25M development cost. Mixed-use program included 42 rental loft units with ground-level theater and restaurant components. Uni Construction represented the owner (major equity holder) and managed development, design management, construction management, and investor representation through project completion and transition to operations.
