Concept & Objective
This project involved the design of an expansion for Dr. Peter J. Cornell’s ophthalmology practice at Beverly Hills Eye Associates, located at 450 Bedford Dr. within an existing medical office building. Uni Construction managed and oversaw the complete design and construction performed by applicable affiliates.
Managed design firms to achieve city permit approval aligned with tenant needs.
Coordinated with existing building systems and tenant requirements.
Issued RFP, supported contractor selection, and oversaw construction to timeline and budget.
Inspiration
We started with a project kick-off to understand the tenant’s vision and functional requirements, developed space planning options, coordinated architectural plans for permitting, and guided revisions through approval. Once permit-ready, we issued an RFP, supported contractor selection, and managed construction delivery in alignment with contract, schedule, and budget.
Project Detail
Completed in 2014. Cost: $170k. Uni Construction represented the owner (landlord) and managed the design and construction of a tenant improvement (TI) expansion for the medical practice, including permitting coordination, contractor bidding (RFP), and construction oversight.
